Merge Project: Makeover Story is an entertaining casual game in which players join Timothy, a makeover specialist, and his interior designer partner in their mission to get people who come to her with problems to leave feeling rejuvenated and happy with how their home or place of work looks, but not before carrying out a series of aesthetic changes.

To gather the necessary materials to complete a makeover, you need makeup, clothes and hair products. You can get these by solving merge puzzles where, to get a certain type of product, you have to merge products of the same type but of a lower level.

As for the mechanics of the merge puzzle, this is a familiar sight: you will find a number of dusty and dirty toiletry bags and makeup products, and a case of cosmetic products. When you tap on the case, it will generate level 1 makeup pots. By merging two makeup pots, you will get a brush, which you can then merge with the dusty objects from before to turn them into new products. Two brushes will give you a blusher, two blushers will give an eyeshadow palette, and so on. You will see customers waiting for you to prepare their order at the top of the screen. With the money you earn, you can return to the section dedicated to making over the person you are helping at that moment.
